Re: Serious, MAJOR GH2 Shortcoming

Technically the GH2 is not a DSLR (single lens reflex) it is a mirror less system camera. Read up.
If you go to B&H you will not find the GH2 listed under DSLR's. I have a camcorder and I love my...

Re: Serious, MAJOR GH2 Shortcoming

I agree totally, but I don't think anyone was going to use it in a run and gun environment.
For me it is a second lockdown camera for my EX3, the 2 cut quite well together . But I think the GH2 is...

Re: Serious, MAJOR GH2 Shortcoming

Re: Shooting advice needed for different cams

If you shoot without a monitor you might consider get a Zacuto viewfinder. Using one makes it much easier to frame and focus. It will magnify the lcd screen and keep light out.
If I had to do...

However Z viewfinder does make...

Re: New to DSLR Video (GH1 or GH2?)

You will not have AF or iris control with the Nikon lens but it will work if you have the adaptor. You can find them on eBay fairly cheap.
Don't think you can go wrong with the panasonic 20mm...
