Buy a £900 Panasonic TM900 or similar (or the Sony 1080p50/60 capable models) and use as a supplementary camera to the EX when you want great full 1080p slow-motion. That's what I do with my EX3. ...

I own the original Rode Videomic, the Stereo Videomic and now the Videomic Pro (amongst numerous mics in my "collection").
I've not tried it on the SVM as I've not had a problem with the rubber...
