yeah i'll give it a shot, I havent had a camera repair situation in 6 years or so (since I went tapeless) so I dont mind spending a little bit. I have spare cameras so I am taking it out of service...

uh short answer yes long answer hell yes! Well I guess if your not running and gunning with a EA-50 but if your doing weddings going inside to out and back and fourth the EA 50 is really a PITA...

the problem that you reference is in the lens not the camera I read a review on that lens and that was one of the complaints most users found.

Are you sure its a new sensor?the impression I got was its the same camera we have except they bundle a 17-105 at f4 vs the 17-200
