Gino Terribilini March 2nd, 2004 07:21 PM

would i be able to talk to down to an even $100 with regular shipping?

Krishna Narayanamurti March 2nd, 2004 07:24 PM

Gino, sure, that sounds good. If you want to go ahead and buy them, my paypal e-mail is the same as my regular e-mail.

Gino Terribilini March 2nd, 2004 07:26 PM

i'm on it now. promise me you wont screw me over (sorry, i've been reading the thread on eBay scammers)... ;)

Krishna Narayanamurti March 2nd, 2004 07:41 PM

batteries sold, camcorder still available

The 2 Canon BP-945 batteries have sold.

If anyone is still interested in the Canon GL-2 camera and Vidpro bag, I will knock the price for both down to $1500.

If I don't hear from anyone about the cam within another week, I will move it over to ebay or simply keep it myself, which I'm getting tempted to do.

Don't worry, Gino. I think most people you'll find here on DVinfo are hard-working, honest professionals like yourself, unlike ebay which is more of a crap shoot.

Vince Debart March 3rd, 2004 05:48 AM

Optex XL Pro Macro Lens, Optex MK2 Wide angle lens, Optex Super Wide Angle

Hi,

I have an Optex XLPro macro lens(fujinon lens), lens adaptor, Optex MK2 Wide Angle Lens and Optex Super Wide Angle Lens for sale. They are all in wonderful condition with lens caps. I used them on a video project that finished shooting two years ago and now wish to liquidate them.

Optex XLPro macro lens(fujinon lens): $700
Optex MK2 Wide Angle Lens: $450
Optex Super Wide Angle Lens: $450

This manual lens package was created specifically for the XL 1 a few years ago. This is a great package to work with. If you're in NYC you're welcome to come by and check the package out personally. I'm looking to pull some photos together to email out to other interested parties.

Let me know if you're interested. I'd like to sell this week.

Thanks,

B

Vince Debart March 3rd, 2004 12:51 PM

this is a pci card ? ...I am looking for one that will work with Vegas Video NLE OHCI compliant

Thanks

Vince

Gino Terribilini March 3rd, 2004 03:46 PM

it is a PCI... unfortunately i'm unfamiliar with the whole Vegas system. can anybody else answer this?

Krishna Narayanamurti March 3rd, 2004 05:30 PM

more info

I got a couple good questions over e-mail about the GL-2, so I thought I should post answers here as well...

tape brand used:

only Panasonic PQ series professional miniDV tapes have been used in the GL2.

how much has it been used:

(over-)estimating that the cam has 60 hours on the recording heads. it has never been used as a playback deck. (that's what ZR's are for.)

repair history:

has never needed servicing (knock-on-wood). have had to clean heads with the Panasonic cleaning tape two or three times max (when instructed by the camera's internal warning message)

Forum Regular Selling DVX100

Thinking about parting with my DVX100 only to opt for a better low light camera (PD170) for my wedding videography. I bought it to do 24p shorts but never ended up doing any...go figure. It's in absolut perfect condition. Odometer reads 30hr.
Selling it with all included accessories (battery, hood, charger, remote, etc) plus I'll include the aluminum hardcase, extra battery, and balance of extended Mack 4-yr warranty. $2500.

Chris Morton March 3rd, 2004 11:09 PM

If I'm unable to sell whole unit ,maybe about $1,000 for the deck. It's less than a year old. Still basically new.

Aaron Rosen March 4th, 2004 02:07 AM

Not ot be rude sir, but the deck costs $824.95 new from B&H.

Kay,

You sent me an email and I keep getting bounces when I try to reply to you...sned me another email and I will get back with you ASAP

Jean-Philippe Archibald March 4th, 2004 02:21 PM

Dylan,

Your 14X lens still available? I might be interested within two or three weeks. My accountant have just said to me that I could receive a larger tax refund than envisaged.

Let me know!

Gino Terribilini March 4th, 2004 03:07 PM

i went to the F.A.Q. section and it said this about the DFW-500 (the model of the card). The question was regarding the drivers in Win2K and WinXP:

Yes. The drivers are built-in to Windows 2000 and XP. The card will be detected as a Texas Instruments IEEE 1394 Host Controller or VIA OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller.

I'm assuming the part that says "VIA OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host COntroller" means that its OHCI compliant. The only downloadable drivers are for Win98. Win2K and WinXP already have the drivers installed. Keep in mind this is ONLY a 3-port firewire card and does NOT have the USB 2.0 ports on it.

Vince Debart March 4th, 2004 08:05 PM

cool I am running W2K pro ... should work fine

Send me your address, I will send a USPS money order tomorrow.

Thanks for the leg work ...30.00 total ?

Vince

Gino Terribilini March 4th, 2004 08:20 PM

Alright... card is sold. Thanks, Vince!

Jim Sofranko March 4th, 2004 08:33 PM

Are these wide angle lenses or adaptors?
Thanks

Chris Morton March 4th, 2004 08:59 PM

I know you're not being rude. Just shopping for a bargain. Can't blame ya. However, I checked the B&H website. This particular deck is not on there. SR-VS30U . I bought it less than a year ago from a JVC manufacturer for $1600. I know things depreciate, especially video, but I wouldn't think it would drop to around $800 so soon. Especially not B&H.

I dunno. Could be wrong. If you see it cheaper though, I definitely recommend going for it. It's a great deck!

David Mintzer March 4th, 2004 09:23 PM

How's 400 bucks???

Boston Fielder March 4th, 2004 09:31 PM

Hi,

It's a fujinon macro lens, with an adapter that connects a wide angle lens that in turn can connect to the super wide angle lens.

Thanks,

Boston

Dylan Couper March 4th, 2004 09:53 PM

I am selling my Canon XL1s camera

I saw you were considering doing an outdoors show. I am selling my Canon XL1s camera and accessories. This camera is the camera of choice for many people that sell or produce hunting videos. My camera is just like brand new and has all the accessories that came with it plus a kata bag which now costs $300 plus a 1.6X optical extender lense that costs around $500. I paid over $4500 for everything but am selling the camera for $3000. If you are interested please contact me and we can talk. I am from Illinois. I videod my bear hunt in Canada in 2002 and the footage is outstanding. Its just like watching a tv show. This camera is great for hunting videos. I am having a 2nd baby and need a smaller camera to take around. Good luck with your video.
