Let me think about it. I have to consider whether no bag will hinder my ability to sell it on ebay. It also protects the tripod in shipping...

I bought a 504HD and 535K kit off eBay last week for super cheap; just need a bag to keep it nice and safe. Kind of a strange auction, but from a reputable seller so I suppose theres a chance it could come with a bag. We'll see when it arrives on Thursday....some might call me a gambler.

Anyways, I'd offer you $75 for the bag if you're willing to part.

Hey Pete, none of my business, but having a huge eBay rating, my experience is...

Most ebay buyers see stuff like bags as a freebie and won't bid much higher because its included. I'd bet a buck you'd get exactly the same for it with or without and would take Nate's $75 (or at least come back with $80) ;)

Packages are almost always worth splitting up (with some exceptions).

Looks like Scott is interested, so I won't stand in the way of him getting his complete kit, but if no one else bites, just let me know.

I've also experienced the same on eBay - no reason to "throw in" accessories when people are perfectly willing to pay for them! Selling on DVinfo, on the other hand, is a completely different story.

Well it showed up today: 504HD with the 535 CF legs. I wasn't expecting much for $500, but it's all brand new! The auction never listed it, but it was all nestled inside the padded bag as well.

That being said, I'm sorry to have led you on, but I'm no longer looking for a tripod bag. Good luck on your sale, it seems like a great deal. If you do sell on eBay, break it all up separately and you'll make a killing.
