Subscribing. So the only negative would be less blurry footage (if you shoot your 60p source with shutter speed of 1/120)? You don't get the "saving private ryan" look of 60p when converted to 24p?...

Get the new one. It has the +20 gain to keep the amps clean on the 7d. The old one will give you hiss once you get the levels up.
