Yes it is very serious. It is an obvious design flaw that the strap attachment point is so flimsy. Not sure what needs to be replaced in order to repair this, but I expect it is quite expensive....

I usually put the lens cap on or stick my hand over the lens and shoot a few seconds of black whenever I change anything like that. Helps to identify where the changes are in the editor.

Hi Mick. This sounds a bit like motion blur to me. What shutter speed are you using? The PAL cameras default to 1/25s in some cases so it's worth checking that.
