Hi Gregory,

You are welcome. Boomer Sooner!

When I shot in SD I used $100-150 wide angle and fisheye lenses, but when I went to HD, I bit the bullet and went for more expensive glass since HD...

Re: Another lens for 60d

It is a lot easier to shoot with zooms, but most zooms are limited to f/2.8. In low light, primes in the 1.4-1.8 range are much brighter.

A great lens to get closeups of the first dance, parent...

Re: Is the HMC150 still a viable option at $3000?

I really like shooting with DSLRs, but they do have their limitations. For that reason I still shoot with the Panny HMC150 for certain scenarios. As of today, IMHO, the HMC150 offers the best bang...

Re: 60D with T2i?

Hi Lisa,

I thought you just bought a second 60D? I would use the two 60Ds for B&G closeups and have the HV40 for a wide cover shot.

If you use the 60D and HV40 to cover a similar shot the...

Re: 60D with T2i?

Hi Lisa,

I shot with the T2i and 60D for a couple of months. The output was identical, but the wat they went about it was different. The buttons are in totally different places and it was...

Re: Comer 1800 Light

Hi Jeremy,

I don't use the light outside, mainly inside, so I always needed the filter on so it was balanced for indoor lighting. With the filter on, it's great for shooting 4-8 feet away from...

Re: Fun Destination Wedding

Hi Jeremy,

I bumped the colors a tad in post, but the color of the sky was primarily due to shooting in the late afternoon and using the Eastern sky as the background. Thanks for watching.

Re: Does anyone shoot with just ONE lens?

Hi Christian,

You are welcome. I prefer a vintage Nikon 50 1.4 for about $100-150 over a new Canon 50mm 1.8 for about $100. You could also consider the Helios 44 which is a 58mm 2.0 for as little...

Re: Does anyone shoot with just ONE lens?

I cannot image trying to shoot a wedding with just a 17-55 2.8. You could not get a closeup of the vows with that lens. Additionally, 2.8 is fast for a zoom, but in low light receptions I rely on...

Re: how do you shoot ceremonies with your DSLR?

It really depends on the circumstances, but the front camera shoots closeups with a 70-210. The other DSLR at the back may use a 28-105 or may also use a 70-210 if it's a really long church and then...

You may be seeing more slider shots than steadicam shots because it takes a lot more skill to use a steadicam/glidecam compared to a slider. I use both but the key, as with everything else, is not to...
