I noticed this as well. I plunked down the cash for the Glidecam & forearm brace but since I have a bit of carpel tunnel, the additional wrist support was very useful to keep my "thumbs up" posture...

It may take a long time, and be a big hassle, but you could do a system wipe (fresh OS install) and put vegas on first. Obviously this is only if the problem is driving you completely crazy.
