I shot some stuff with it on the weekend and also shot some stuff with a 35mm adapter in low light and looks pretty good to me, I will need to do some comparison but I think its pretty good.

Depends what they captured in, but something like Nero Vision will capture in mpeg 2/dvd format which can easily be made into a dvd as no transcoding will be needed.
