Black Magic URSA camera photos and details from NAB 2014

Black Magic Designs introduced the new URSA Camera Line at NAB 2014.  This new Cinema Production Platform comes in four configurations and according to Black Magic CEO Grand Petty this is the worlds smallest broadcast camera with the worlds biggest LCD.

And that’s what pops out on this unit the first time you see it. LCD’s everywhere. There’s a monster LCD for watching your shots. Then there’s TWO huge LCDs mounted on each side of the camera body that allow you to display camera information and show the unit’s built in scopes. That’s right, this camera comes with a mini-suite of the sort of scopes that have become familiar to Black Magic Customers via their  DaVinci Resolve workLeft Side Black Magic URSA
