1000+ and a little dusty, if age is a state of mind...

In my 30's according to carbon dating methods.

Pete Bauer December 4th, 2003 12:38 PM

45 this very day...but plan a behavioral regression to 21 tonight!

Mike Zorger December 4th, 2003 02:11 PM

This is what I tell my friends: Bernard Baruch-
To me, old age is always fifteen years older than I am.

This is what I tell myself: Edith Wharton-
It spite of illness, in spite even of the archenemy sorrow, one can remain alive long past the usual date of disintegration if one is unafraid of change, insatiable in intellectual curiosity, interested in big things, and happy in a small way

Born 1946

Forty years and one week today. Time flies when you're having fun.

(Note to self: Think about having a little less fun from now on)

Forty Eight and feelin' Great!!

Andre De Clercq January 3rd, 2004 04:14 PM

My parents used to tell me that I was born in june 1936...and I suppose this is correct.

Michael Westphal January 4th, 2004 03:20 PM

There's nothing like being late to the party...

35 Median
13.28 Standard Deviation

Jeff Donald January 4th, 2004 03:41 PM

Ken, you'll have to make an adjustment. My birthday is today, so I'm 47.

Lorinda Norton January 4th, 2004 03:43 PM

Thanks, Ken--it's nice to know that the 40+ crowd is still "above average." :)

Andre, would you care to elaborate on your post? I'd like to hear more of the story.

And Jeff--Happy Birthday !!!!

Ken Tanaka January 4th, 2004 04:05 PM

Hey, Jeff, Happy Birthday!

Aw, now I have to adjust the whole darn spreadsheet.

Andre De Clercq January 4th, 2004 04:08 PM

Lorinda, there is nothing special to the story. I have not been found somewhere in the bushes..but I believe we were all " too young" when we were born to be sure of our birthday. We have to believe what our environment tells us.

David Ho January 5th, 2004 01:17 AM

I'm 17, but turning 18 in 3 months. :-)

John Locke January 5th, 2004 03:35 AM

Happy birthday, Jeff! Just wondering...how are you be able to photograph wildlife, with all your camera setup, and manage a walker at the same time?

Jeff Donald January 5th, 2004 06:38 AM

I gave up the walker at 45, John. Now I make my students with a C or worse average push me in my wheelchair.

Joe Carney January 5th, 2004 09:28 AM

Gee I'm 3 months older than Jeff. Darnit.

Lorinda Norton January 5th, 2004 03:01 PM

<<<-- Originally posted by Andre De Clercq : but I believe we were all " too young" when we were born to be sure of our birthday. We have to believe what our environment tells us. -->>>

That's so true, Andre--a concept I hadn't considered. It's entirely possible that your parents conspired with hospital staff, etc. to falsify your birth records and conceal the truth. Probably happens all the time.

Mike Zorger January 6th, 2004 09:53 AM

OLD!! haha

Seth Peterson January 9th, 2004 12:23 AM

Just turned 25

Kris Holodak February 20th, 2004 08:31 AM

34. Though I subscribe to the theory that you're only as old as you feel which makes me about 12 most days.

Terry Lyons February 26th, 2004 11:30 AM

44 3/4...boy am in denial or what

Daniel Kohl February 26th, 2004 03:37 PM

Milt Lee February 27th, 2004 10:24 AM

I just turned 56, and I believe I'm just getting started on a whole new thing.

I started my cinema verite/documentary/commentary website about a month ago, and I expect that it's going to be going for a long time.

hearing all your ages is making me feel kinda good. I thought i was getting into the scene a little late. But i guess not... i'm 18.

Adam C Bowman March 2nd, 2004 09:30 AM

Turned 25 the day after Christmas. I try not to count birthdays being that mine is on the worst day of the year for a party. Isn't age just a frame of mind anyways. Truthfully I feel like life really started after college. Well thats all I got.

Ken Tanaka March 2nd, 2004 12:31 PM

Aw, I always felt sorry for folks whose birthdays are so close to Christmas. How can parents be so inconsiderate! <g>

Lisa Sedlak March 2nd, 2004 01:38 PM

I am 31.

I probably will stay that age.

Rob Lohman March 3rd, 2004 11:57 AM

Ken: my father and his mother both have there birthday just
after Christmas. Very busy time for us since my birthday is at
the end of November and my youngest brother is just in the
newyear. Oh well.
