Panasonic Debuts HDTV Producer

Turn-Key Video Production Studio for under $20,000
An All-Inclusive Start-up Studio Kit for Churches, Schools, Media Centers and More

Orlando, FL, June 15, 2011 – Panasonic Solutions Company (PSC), provider of collaboration, information-sharing and decision-support solutions for government and commercial enterprises, today announced the HDTV Producer (model HDTVP-2), an affordable, all-inclusive, video production studio priced below $20,000. Easy to set-up and operate, HDTV Producer addresses the video staging and production requirements of many churches, high schools, middle schools, colleges, community media centers, cable access channels, and training centers while doing it a price most organizations can afford. Although the HDTV Producer is a fully turnkey system, it can be upgraded as requirements change.

HDTV Producer’s main components include two AG-HMC80 AVCCAM HD/SD professional camcorders for video capture, an AG-HMX100 HD/SD AV Mixer with MultiViewer for video and audio mixing with digital effects, an AG-HMR10 compact AVCCAM Recorder for recording of up to 4 hours of content, a 42” TH-42LF20 Professional LCD Monitor with 1080p resolution, as well as SDHC Cards and all the audio / video accessories and cabling necessary to begin producing HD content immediately. An illustrated set-up guide makes it simple for non-technical personnel to go from “shipping box to air” quickly and easily.

“Researching, specifying, purchasing, and setting up professional video equipment to produce high-quality, HD content can be challenging and time-consuming,” said John Rhodes, Product Manager, PSC. “With HDTV Producer, we are facilitating the procurement and installation process, and making it painless for organizations to deploy a full-featured video production system with a solid-state workflow.”

In addition to its Panasonic professional video gear, HDTV Producer includes such premium A/V accessories as a Shure SM48LC Microphone and boom stand, an Intercom / Tally System with four headsets/belt packs, two Tripod Systems with Dollies, and two Zoom/Focus Rear Lens Control Systems. This start-up studio kit can be expanded with the addition of cameras, microphones, graphic systems, and more.

HDTV Producer will be available in June at a suggested list price of $19,995.
