You can always right click on a multiclip to change the angle. I commonly use that technique and roll edits to correct "mistakes" when using multclips.

When I shoot weddings with it in HD, I wouldnt go over 3db of gain. When I downconvert to DV, I will take it up to 6 or 9 depending on my needs. Needless to say, when it gets dark, I use the Z1.

I use mine to supplement my Z1U during weddings. It works well for ceremonys, pictures, and general footage. But it looks ugly in a dim reception hall unless you add lotsa light.

Worth it alone...

That rebate has been going on for at least 2 1/2 years--back when I bought my first GL2. Its still a useful camera, but I sure am glad I sold it to get a Z1U!
