Fight Finland - fight club style with the Canon 7d

Hi all.

We shot this with two Canon 7d cameras. First time playing with smoke and lights. Tried going for a slight fight club look but more blue than usual.

I'm maybe the only voice for the HC1 but I would go for it. I have it and the hv20 which is 99% the same as the hv40.

HC1:

+ better handling with a monopod
+ focus and exposure adjustments way...

Yeah, go with the official Sony wideangle for the HC1. Doesn't distort as much as the Raynox 6600 and looks sharper.

I have 3ghz core quad and yes, editing the originals is a bit of a pain, but I just render the timeline. I bring all my clips into the timeline and render them once. Then just edit using those clips.

Well the quality will drop when you encdode to mpeg2. I would just edit it natively and render them all in the timeline itself.

I don't agree with Barry either. I have the Canon HV20 and it's very good looking and it's sharpness seems to match the 7d pretty well (in cinemode). My older Sony HC1 clearly has less resolution...
