I bought this camcorder in Dec '09. Shipped straight from the factory. I've used it for about 20 minutes and decided it was too much camera for me.

So I'm selling it. It's obviously still under warranty and and I signed up for the extra 4 year extended warranty and received that back(not sure if that is transferable). It comes with everything that came with it including the p2 card and Barry's book and i believe i still have the original boxes.

Camera is back from Panasonic and back on sale.

Service was not a great experience but in the end, they took care of everything.

I had them set the hour meter to 1000 hours--probably still much higher than I actually used it but much closer than 8000. It was also cleaned and the firmware updated.

As stated, the camera has been under warranty since it's purchase and is currently at MACK for a cleaning and checkup since the warranty is about to expire in May. I wanted to make sure the camera was tip-top before selling it.

The camera has performed flawlessly for me since I've owned and only been into service twice. Once for the "A" upgrade, and once for a blown firewire port that was repaired and currently works fine (thank you "no power" firewire cable). This camera was never taken in harsh conditions; sand, water, desert, animals, and was always stored safely in a climate controlled house.

Current asking price for the entire package is $2,900.00 +shipping, but willing to take reasonable offers. I'd rather not part this package out and sell it complete.

Forgot to add. The bracket attached to the IDX battery plate is a custom made bracket to hold the Firestore. It's simply attached with bolts/nuts and can easily be removed.

Wanted to say the only reason I'm selling this is I've just finished shooting my web series and need to replace the funds that were taken out during shooting. Otherwise I'd keep this and continue with a new series. The camera performed remarkably during the shooting and never had an issue. It's currently shipped off to Mack for a full check up to make sure all is in working order for it's new owner and home.

I bought this like 3 month ago used to go with my XHA1s and the Redrock Matte box( post for sale soon) but i counldn't afford to buy a DOF adapter yet so it can not be mount with the matte box because of the A1s mic are in the way. So this is not used by me at all other than mounted to try which i had explained above now it up for sell. I need money for something else otherwise would love to keep it untill i get the DOF adapter. You all know how Zacuto build their stuff and they are expensive too.

I've really enjoyed my letus extreme in the year and a half that I've had it. I've used it on interviews, beauty shots, several indie shorts and a couple of weddings. With decent lenses, the look is beautifull.
My Letus extreme is set up for Canon ( or any other 72mm camera lens). I've used it on my Canon H1, a1, and Sony z1. It has the nikon lens mount, since my primes are all nikon. I have the Letus rail system and the padded case form Letus.
