Sold my PD170 so I no longer need this. Includes everything shown in the picture -- battery, hood, etc. $125.00 shipped.
-- prefer Paypal, USA only

This is a standard definition monitor but it's great for framing your shots. Worked great with a PD170.

I have no tripod for you, but I have an idea. When I needed a heavy-duty tripod to use with my Kessler jib or my teleprompter setup, I got a big old Quickset tripod from eBay for about $80. That thing could hold a small car. They're not pretty, but they show up pretty often and go cheap.

Nick, If you're open and it helps sell your rig faster, I would be willing to trade you battery mounts (my AA) + add cash for your charger and IDX batteries so you would be able to lower your price and attract more buyers.

If you're up for this, send me an email and we can discuss the details.

Thanks,
Randy

As an alternative, what I've used in the past is a Manfrotto 028 tripod or Manfrotto 475 tripod, both around $250.00 (can get them cheaper obviously used on eBay)

I've used both to mount my Kessler 12-foot rig with a 15-pound camera, motorized turret head and 80+ pounds of weights.
I then use Bogen Super Clamps on the the legs and center column to make them rock solid.

No problem.

I'm unfortunately going to have to parting with my wonderful camera before the beginning of spring this year. I've owned my Xl-H1 for about a year and a half now and it has done some incredible things for me. You really have to work with this camera in order to appreciate both the quality of image it is capable of, as well as its ease of use.

If I were to rate the condition of the camera and its accessories, I would say that it is somewhere between Mint and Like New. I never take it out of the case unless it is being used, and I have never loaned it out. I have been fortunate enough that the school I attend has a “deck” (an hv-30) for the camera so it has never been used as a deck. An educated guess on the hours would put it somewhere between 150-200 hours. I’ve produced 5 short films with the camera, they were approximately 5-10 Minutes long each.
Package Includes:

Canon XL-H1 (Priced New at $6,000)
Canon XL-H1 Manual
Canon DC-920 DC (charges the batteries as well as powers the camera directly)
Canon Shoulder Strap (never used)

Extras:
A Pelican 1600 case (New is approx. $200),
Davis and Sanford ProVista Tripod ($200),
Tripod Quick release plate ($150),
3 Piece Filter Set 72mm - U.V., Polarized, and Fluorescent to Daylight ($70)

4 Batteries:
BP-945 - Estimated at # Hours ($100)
BP-930 - Estimated at # Hours ($60)
2x BP-915 - Estimated at # Hours ($50)

Cables
1x 4 to 6 pin Firewire cable ($8)
1x 4 to 4 pin Firewire cable ($6)
8ft BNC Cable ($10)
Canon HD BTC-1000 Component Connector Cable ($50)

I’m looking for $6,500.

PayPal or Certified Check only please.

Buyer is responsible for PayPal fees and Actual Shipping Cost.

Total weight is approximately 40lbs.

I would prefer not to piece out the kit too much, however if enough parts of the kit would go to one place I would be willing to put together 2 or 3 separate kits.

I can send JPG pictures to prospective buyers. Send me an email if you’re interested!

I'm getting out of the videography business for the time being and have lots of gear I will be listing here. I've only taken pics of the camera at this point so the other items will be posted later.

This Canon XHA1 is in excellent condition and has always had a lens filter in place to protect the lens. Everything works as new. Comes with a great softside carrying bag (lots of pockets and very sturdy for protection), 2 batteries (standard and extended), wall charger (replacement, not original canon), component video cables, user manual, and DC power coupler. I forgot to include the remote in the picture but it's also part of this kit. I would estimate the drum hour usage at around 50. I've always used Panasonic AY-DVM63AMQ tapes with this little gem.

Price $2400.

Please email me with questions and I will reply as soon as possible. I will post an update to this thread once the camera is sold, so if I haven't posted a "sold" update, it's still available :)

I'll post pictures for those who are interested.

I bought this housing for a project I was going to do at work that just never came together.
So after receiving this item, the only action that it's seen has been a leak check in my bath tube. Since then it's been hanging out in my locker at work. It's in great shape. The lens is scratch free.... I did put some window tint inside the unit to cut down on the glare off of the housing's lens.

I'm interested in trading for a b camera... Possibly a HV30 or like model....

Steve
