Hello all,
Up for sale is two LTM 1200w HMI's with magnetic ballasts. I bought three of these for a project that didn't end up happening and am now selling off two of them and keeping the third.

Both lights are in good working condition and I'm including a set of good bulbs, ballasts and barn doors for each light.

Asking $800 USD plus shipping per light.

Also, for anyone in the states, I live near the border and I am willing to drive the lights across the border into the states to save you time, money and hassle. I would ship the lights out of Duluth via Fed Ex, which I couldn't see costing more than $300 in shipping.

Payment via Paypal is preferable.

Please find photos of the lights here:

is this a fluid head? I have heard mixed reviews saying it's good then saying it sticks.

Thanks John!

I'm really, really interested in your cam, but the wife may not like that it's not covered by warranty anymore. Hhmm. I guess if Chris decides not to buy it let me know :)

Yeah, I love my XL2 but it's time to go full on HD. Gotta keep up with the times!

Tried emailing you thru your website, but always get a failed message though...

Best,

I forgot to add that the package also comes with a brand-new (never used) ProVideo Sock-Loupe. We never got around to using it on set.

Hi guys

Looking for some Vinten tripod legs (Or other good quality). Pref 75mm bowl but I'd consider 100mm too !?

These are replacing some broken Vinten Vision 3 legs.

Cheers
Mat

What camera do you actually have perched on that Vision 3 and how does the counterbalance work with it?

I ask as, if the broken legs were the standard Vinten 2 stage 75 mm aluminium sticks, there's a deal coming up shortly where you can get a full set of those sticks, spreader, boots, case and Vision Blue fully variable counterbalance head for around $1100 US (don't have a UK price at the moment) which is, quite frankly, giving it away.

See my review in the "Articles" section at the top of each page.

Not, however, much good to you if you're shooting a Sony PMW800 or similar monster.

I just want to thank Joe and DVinfo.net for an absolute perfect purchase experience. I can't stress enough how well Joe communicated back and forth with my many questions before the sale. He was a very patient seller that's for sure. His description of the items were spot on: ZERO scratches on any item and all were in perfect condition. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with Joe. I was at ease the entire time. It's nice to know there are still honest people out there who sell what they advertise. This deal was smooth from beginning to end without a doubt!! Props to both Joe and DVinfo.net.

I have one of these and can testify it's the closest thing to a Flyer or Pilot you'll find for the price. If you've been thinking of flying your camera on a budget, take a close look.

Good luck selling it Luke...

OK I talked with a broker and a few dealers and have adjusted the prices from their advice.
Been there! Having paid for a couple hundred $K worth of gear over the past few year, that's never a happy conversation to have. It's a rough contrast between realizing how much you paid, and learning how much they think you can get for it.

Good luck and quick sales!

All Still Available?

Robert Welch

This Panasonic AG-HMC40 is in mint condition, very low usage. It was a 3rd camera and has been replaced with a 150 to match the other two we have. This camera's primary usage has been at the back of the church on a tripod covering the ceremony for about 20 or so weddings. It's a terrific little camcorder, but we got a deal on the replacement camera we couldn't refuse, so this one is now available.

It comes with all the original stuff, battery & charger, cables, manual, viewer and file restore programs on CD, etc. Also included is a Panasonic x0.7 WA lens that we got used (it's an older model VW-LW4307W) which has some slight cleaning marks on the front but otherwise is clean and works well on this camera. Also included is an 8gb PNY brand SD card that gives about 45 minutes of video on this camcorder.

Price is $1,700 plus shipping, Paypal is the preferred payment method. If you purchase it in Louisiana, I'll have to charge sales tax. Email me with any questions:
robertwelch@earthlink.net

Thanks for looking!

Patrick Janka
September 16th, 2010, 12:45 AM
Excellent condition. I'm including an XLR cable and UV filter. The Letus comes with the case, rails, Nikon 55mm f1.4 prime lens, and a Minolta 35mm-70mm f3.5 zoom lens. $3500. Paypal only.

Jeff Harper
September 16th, 2010, 02:33 AM
You are correct, Adam. I don't even look for things at ebay any longer. It used to be the first place I looked for things. Their are many for sale there now, but at prices like $2700 for a used one I can stand to wait. There are a few for $2000, but even that is ridiculous. And I don't want need "lots of extras". They sell around here at a more reasonable price.

Paul Cronin
September 16th, 2010, 05:23 AM

I have one for sale. What price is reasonable where you live? I'm curious if 2,000 is ridiculous what the going rate is. Sounds like you could buy them where you live and put them on ebay and make a good living. Make an offer I might take it.

Charles Dasher
September 16th, 2010, 06:31 AM
Hello Luke

Did you get the email I sent?

Jeff Harper
September 16th, 2010, 06:44 AM
I consider the going rate to be what they sell for on this forum. Do a search and it is easy to see.

For example: FX1 with one hour's use sold for $1750. I've seen them for $1500, $1600, etc. I've see a good number for $2000 or more, but that normally includes lots of extras, but not always, and they sell more slowly.

These are old cameras, and there are now two generations of Sony cameras that have arrived since. A used FX1000 can now be purchased for under $3K, so $2500 price for FX1, IMO, is laughable. I purchased a used HMC 150 last year for $2500 on this forum, it was fresh out of the box, almost new.

Z1 generally sells in the 2000- $2500 and up range, though I've seen them for less on occasion.

If your FX1 is for sale you should have a price in mind and post it or email me what you're willing to take.

Ron Little

These are great cameras only used by little old ladies to shoot weddings.

OK the little old lady thing was a joke but I do take very good care of my cameras.

Charlie Branham
September 16th, 2010, 08:47 AM
for 1500 to 1600 I'd leave it on the shelf to look at. Looks like you get some pretty sweet deals! Good Luck.

Tim Polster
September 16th, 2010, 11:03 AM
Paul, I am sorry to hear of your situation. I hope you get a swift resolution and can move your business forward. Bump Bump...

Jeff Harper
September 16th, 2010, 11:13 AM
The deals are not "my deals". As I explained, do a SEARCH here for the FX1 and you will see what they sell for here. The prices are all over the place. You don't have to take my word for it. I didn't ask you to sell yours. You entered the thread saying you had a camera for sale and that you were taking offers. It was obvious you were not serious. When I have something to sell I have a price in mind, I don't ask people to make offers out of the blue.
