Hi,

I have an Optex XLPro macro lens(fujinon lens), lens adaptor, Optex MK2 Wide Angle Lens and Optex Super Wide Angle Lens for sale. They are all in wonderful condition with lens caps. I used them on a video project that finished shooting two years ago and now wish to liquidate them.

Optex XLPro macro lens(fujinon lens): $700
Optex MK2 Wide Angle Lens: $450
Optex Super Wide Angle Lens: $450

This manual lens package was created specifically for the XL 1 a few years ago. This is a great package to work with. If you're in NYC you're welcome to come by and check the package out personally. I'm looking to pull some photos together to email out to other interested parties.

Let me know if you're interested. I'd like to sell this week.

Thanks,

B

I got a couple good questions over e-mail about the GL-2, so I thought I should post answers here as well...

tape brand used:

only Panasonic PQ series professional miniDV tapes have been used in the GL2.

how much has it been used:

(over-)estimating that the cam has 60 hours on the recording heads. it has never been used as a playback deck. (that's what ZR's are for.)

repair history:

has never needed servicing (knock-on-wood). have had to clean heads with the Panasonic cleaning tape two or three times max (when instructed by the camera's internal warning message)

Thinking about parting with my DVX100 only to opt for a better low light camera (PD170) for my wedding videography. I bought it to do 24p shorts but never ended up doing any...go figure. It's in absolut perfect condition. Odometer reads 30hr.
Selling it with all included accessories (battery, hood, charger, remote, etc) plus I'll include the aluminum hardcase, extra battery, and balance of extended Mack 4-yr warranty. $2500.

If I'm unable to sell whole unit ,maybe about $1,000 for the deck. It's less than a year old. Still basically new.

Dylan,

Your 14X lens still available? I might be interested within two or three weeks. My accountant have just said to me that I could receive a larger tax refund than envisaged.

Let me know!

i went to the F.A.Q. section and it said this about the DFW-500 (the model of the card). The question was regarding the drivers in Win2K and WinXP:

Yes. The drivers are built-in to Windows 2000 and XP. The card will be detected as a Texas Instruments IEEE 1394 Host Controller or VIA OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller.

I'm assuming the part that says "VIA OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host COntroller" means that its OHCI compliant. The only downloadable drivers are for Win98. Win2K and WinXP already have the drivers installed. Keep in mind this is ONLY a 3-port firewire card and does NOT have the USB 2.0 ports on it.

I know you're not being rude. Just shopping for a bargain. Can't blame ya. However, I checked the B&H website. This particular deck is not on there. SR-VS30U . I bought it less than a year ago from a JVC manufacturer for $1600. I know things depreciate, especially video, but I wouldn't think it would drop to around $800 so soon. Especially not B&H.

I dunno. Could be wrong. If you see it cheaper though, I definitely recommend going for it. It's a great deck!

Hi,

It's a fujinon macro lens, with an adapter that connects a wide angle lens that in turn can connect to the super wide angle lens.

Thanks,

I saw you were considering doing an outdoors show. I am selling my Canon XL1s camera and accessories. This camera is the camera of choice for many people that sell or produce hunting videos. My camera is just like brand new and has all the accessories that came with it plus a kata bag which now costs $300 plus a 1.6X optical extender lense that costs around $500. I paid over $4500 for everything but am selling the camera for $3000. If you are interested please contact me and we can talk. I am from Illinois. I videod my bear hunt in Canada in 2002 and the footage is outstanding. Its just like watching a tv show. This camera is great for hunting videos. I am having a 2nd baby and need a smaller camera to take around. Good luck with your video.

I just lowered the price on my legitimate copy of Magic Bullet Suite for Windows---350------thats about a third of the price of a new one--It includes everything--dongle, manual, and free update to version 1.5. Contact me at sligo11@hotmail.com if you are interested. It should go fairly quickly at this price.

Hello
I am looking to purchase a used 3ccd camera and would prefer
a gl1, gl2, vx1000, or vx2000.
My budget is limited to around $800 to $1200. I do not need a bunch of extras, just the camera, battery, and charger.
If you have anything in this price range, please email me.
samueltforbes@yahoo.com
Thanks and have a great day!

If you don't find what you're looking for- you might want to look at the Panasonic DV953 and GS70- both 3CCD cams within your budget.

Frank Granovski
March 6th, 2004, 05:53 PM
B&H is selling the PV-DV953 for around $1200 these days.

Thanks for the feedback fellas. However, I am really only interested in the Canon and Sony 3ccd's.

Frank Granovski
March 6th, 2004, 06:25 PM
For a max of $1200, that leaves the GL2 and VX2000 out of the picture. The GL1 and VX1000 only have a horizontal line playback of 460 lines, coupled with noise. The GL1 doesn't have the greatest audio; I can't recall if the VX1000 has DV-in/out.

Hello all, I'm looking to sell my PAL XL1 package in the next few weeks, It's great little set up and perfect you folks who are looking to make something moroe film look. (do a search of PAL vs. NTSC to see what I'm talking about) The camera was just recently serviced by Stone's Electronics here in L.A. I did that because I was switching tape stock from sony to the panasonic master quality minidv tapes. The camera has seen very little use since I purchased it last year, because shortly after I purchased it I got a job at a rental house and was granted access to their equipment. I'm looking to sell the whole caboodle so here's the list.

XL1 body + two of the larger and one of the smaller batteries
battery charger + battery charger/car adapter
3x wide angle lens
14x manual lens
ma-200
portabrace bag
cavision 4x4 mattebox
tiffen 4x4 polarizer
tiffen 4x4 1/4 Black Promist
Tripod with quick release (generic)
Sony 8" monitor (8044q) with 16:9 and 4:3 PAL and NTSC
5 np1's (of verying strength plus charger)

Sennheiser me66 and k6 base unit
2 Lowel Tota lights with case and such
1 omni light
A nice hard case for the lens and light (not on the camera) and the mic

Also included is a ef adapter that I've taken apart in order to create an agus 35 but has not been completed, if I have the time I'll try and complete the darn thing and throw in an ef lens. but that'll probably raise the price.

This is a lot of stuff and it's all in excellent condition except the 14x lens has a small (not noticable through camera) scratch on the coating of the lens.

I know I'm going to get about 20 people wanting to break up the package but I'd really like to get read of everything all at once, however if i can't find a buyer I'll start piecing everything out before going on ebay.

Make me an offer I'm looking in the 6k range possibly more if the agus thing works

There's also a heck of a lot of cables
