OK, well i have tryed once before on here, but im going to try again.

I have a Near Mint Optura 300 dv camcorder.

I bought it the beg. of the summer of 04' and only have used it for 6 hours, recording car shows for my friend's dvd.

The camera is basically brand new, and everything, including the camera has been babied beyond no end.

Everything works 101% perfect, only marks camera has on it, is from a tripod on the bottom, but you can barley notice.

I really would like to sell this camera asap, so i can get either a gl-1, or gl-2.

The package includes:
*Optura 300 - org. boxes, papers, all necs. wires, computer cd's etc.
*two memory cards- 8 mb, and 256 (can fit about 800 pictures)

Have you had the 3X lens tested?

i'm selling a used canon xl1 that i have owned for 8 months. i purchased it from a Film student in Orlando Florida. the camera was purchased in 1999. this xl1 is in good condition very minor signs of wear around the eyepiece.

the kit includes camera body and lens ( no manual, it was packed up by accident and is in military storage ), three bp945 batteries, 2 tiffen filters, polarizer and ND. battery charger, remote, cables, Nice soft carrying case designed for the xl1, and lens cleaning kit. JVC has been the only brand tape used with this mini dv.

I am selling a very, very good condition PAL Canon Xl1s kit, and am open to sensible offers.

I am a conscientious professional videographer, who has had good use out of the Xl1s. It has been used mainly for weddings and a few short films. I am however now moving on to greener pastures.

The camera is obviously not new, it is around 18 months old. I have looked after it very well, however there are a few SLIGHT and MINUTE scuffs which have arisen from just general good use. They in NO WAY affect the cameras performance, and amount to probably less than you would expect from the age of the camera.

I would say that it has roughly around 30 hours of tape use on the camera (I use a different camera as a tape deck for capturing)

I bought a Manfrotto 3182 with a 3183 head (also known as a 501)

For a tripod on the lower end of the price scale, it's good enough. The legs are definitely good and if I need something that goes lower, I'll keep my eyes peeled for something used, otherwise, eventually I'll upgrade the head.

Thanks for the reply. A friend and fellow DV Info member has a 501 head and I forget which Mannfrotto legs he has, but It put my Davis and Stanford to shame. It was buttery smooth in comparison. I think you'll get very good results with your setup.

I have a Glidecam 2000 for sale. It has a little bit of wear, but it works perfectly and is in overall great condition, as it only was used a few times for indoor shots. Easy to balance and provides smooth gliding shots steadicam like.

I can provide photos of the actual thing via Email if you're interested.

I also have the body pod that goes with the Glidecam 2000 (or 1000/4000). It has a few paint scuffs but otherwise is in great shape and perfect working order. Very handy because unless you are one hell of a strong guy/girl, you will struggle to keep the Glidecam stable for extended periods of time. The body pod makes it effortless to opperate.

Does anyone know the cost of replacing a CCD?
I am entertaining offers on my well traveled, well worn GL1.
It appears that i lost my first pixel during my last gig, and i feel that I can't offer a quality product with the camera as-is.
the LCD screen also takes jiggling sometimes to light up, and has a couple pixels out on it, but other than that the camera is perfect. It has about 200 hrs. on it between shooting and playback.
Lastly, does anyone know if there are any warantees that I could buy and then have it repaired? Like, no questions asked warantees?
