Still available. This would make someone a nice package. Camera looks and functions brand new.

Well, I guess it wasn't meant to be. Maybe this is some sort of message saying that I shouldn't sell my gear.

Can anybody suggest another way of me selling my gear?

It would be cool if I could sell it to someone locally, but there doesn't seem to be anyone around this area that is making there own "professional" quality movies.

Nori, I listed my XL1S in the Buy and Sell for a couple issues with only one incoherent query.

Then I listed it in Craigslist
http://vancouver.craigslist.org/ ('http://vancouver.craigslist.org/')

and got it sold in a week.

Previous to all that I had listed it in DVInfo for about two months and almost got it sold to a buyer who went AWOL.

Just my experience.

I have a nice PD 150 with a few extras I am selling. I figure I'll try here before I go the Ebay route. The cam comes with everything as new in the original box. Also have an NP-F750 battery and an Optex wide angle zoom through with bayonette mount. Everything is in great condition and very clean. The only mod I made to it was to cut off the bottom of the cover that exposes the firewire port.

Hours are:

Operation 14X10H
Drum Run 8X10H
Tape Run 4X10H
Threading 43X10

I don't follow what these cams are worth on the used market. I am open to offers.

Josh, you may want to check your sources saying that the GL1 and GL2 picture is identical, I do agree that the GL1 is a good solid camera for 1k, but the picture of the GL2 is much better then the GL1, if the picture was the same then it wouldn't make sense to make a GL2.

The GL2 contains 380,000 effective pixels per CCD vs. 250,000 pixels per CCD in the GL1, but I don't want to turn anyone away from buying your camrea, because it is a great camera.

Ah, thanks. I didn't mean to mislead anyone! I was just going by what the Sony rep told me (I figured he'd know his stuff ;)... then again he does work for Sony and not Canon...).

He must have meant that the image sensor size is the same (1/4") but the sensor resolution is indeed different. The GL1 still takes a great picture, though. :)

For a comparison, specs are here:

GL1: http://reviews-zdnet.com.com/Canon_GL1/4507-6500_16-30580925.html?tag=dir

GL2: http://reviews-zdnet.com.com/Canon_GL2/4507-6500_16-20224838.html?tag=tab

As you can see, they are almost an identical camera. Very few changes were made between the GL1 and GL2.

Hi Dennis,

I am selling the system as a complete package. The system will not come with a mount as I am keeping mine. I am migrating from the DVX/M35 to an XL2/M35 and it seems to make the most sense to sell the whole system as a package to someone interested in saving a little money on the DVX/M35 system.
Thanks for your questions.
