Joe Lloyd June 27th, 2004, 12:29 AM Is it pal or NTSC? Tommy Haupfear June 27th, 2004, 12:34 AM NTSC, unfortunately the GS100 was never released outside of Japan. Alex Melnikov June 27th, 2004, 11:49 AM very motivated to sell, gimme an offer :-) Ryan Nowosielski June 27th, 2004, 12:23 PM I have a Canon GL1 and I need a Century Optics Mark II .3x semi-fisheye lens. I am willing to buy either the 58mm threaded screw-in version, but I would really prefer the bayonet style (specific for the GL1 and GL2). Please email me if you have one available, I am looking for one cheaper than retail obviously. I need one for my skateboarding film, and have a Raynox .3x, but am looking for the Century precision and style. So trades, offers, requests, whatever... just post em or email me asap please. Michael Summers June 27th, 2004, 08:47 PM great cam guys ive used it take up the offer if youre in the market for an entry level 3ccd camera Martin McClellan June 27th, 2004, 10:03 PM Made in 1999 according to tag. I got it as part of a used XL1 package and since I'm not much of a mountaineer and don't live in Alaska, I doubt I'll be needing it. It's in excellent shape--I can't discern any use at all, but I don't know that for sure, so let me just say that it doesn't smell (no smoke!), has no rips, there is no discoloring on edges and stress points, and the suede looks like new (except for extremely minor discoloration at fold points on the handle. No heating pads included. http://www.portabrace.com/asp/ProdDesc.asp?DescCode=POL Here's a snap of the actual unit: http://www.rosacordis.com/fs/pol-a.jpg I'd like $225 + actual shipping costs, although I'm looking for some gear that I'd be willing to trade for/towards (I'm willing to throw in some cold, hard cash): 1. A low/midrange tripod that can hold an XL1 2. a self contained small, inexpensive light kit (ala the JTL TL-1500) 3. TFT after market monitor (again, for the XL1) Any questions? Feel free to email or post. Put "portabrace" in the subject line to avoid my overzealous spam filter if emailing, please. Thank you! Stephen van Vuuren June 28th, 2004, 02:25 AM I had to build a new silent PC for audio recording, and unfortunately can’t afford to keep my beloved “Aquarium PC”. I have rebuilt it as “The Aquarium PC II” and need to find a good home for it. If you know of anyone that would be interested in purchasing a one-of-kind machine, please let me know. I would prefer someone local (Greensboro, NC USA) though I can ship for $150-$200 depending on location, insurance. They also should value all the long hours of labor that have gone in to it as well as being comfortable opening up a computer case. I have prepared a full web page with pictures, video and specs at http://www.sharkpc.com Alex Melnikov June 28th, 2004, 01:41 PM Same camera with a bit less hours going for $3550 right now and the auction isn't over yet. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3823291855 Alex Melnikov June 28th, 2004, 02:48 PM Listed on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3824582022 Dylan Couper June 28th, 2004, 09:04 PM Stephen, that may possibly be the coolest case I've ever seen. Guys, this is worth looking at just to see what a man can do with a little free time. Well, possibly a lot of free time. :D Stephen van Vuuren June 28th, 2004, 09:16 PM Dylan, thanks for the compliment. And yes, it's closer to "a lot" of free time. That's why I don't do it for a living as it's very time consuming. I'm just selling it for what it cost me in parts. It's killing me to sell it because I do think it's the coolest case I've ever seen but unfortunately I dont' have the money to cover it. Joel Ruggiero June 29th, 2004, 07:36 AM there gl2 bayonet is hard to come across used i have been waiting for one for like 2 months and just the other day i got one from a guy in canada but dont buy the screw on version you will get a little vignetting and it isnt as secure as the bayonet. but good luck finding one and just watch ebay and (skaterperception.com) their forum. Ryan Nowosielski June 29th, 2004, 04:57 PM not very encouraging :( lol.. i think i was trying to buy the exact same lens from canadian guy that you were, if you saw it on his ebay auction for the gl2 for 2800 clams.... anyways, good luck with it and i hope i find one soon... anyone who has one , keep posting! Jake McMurray June 29th, 2004, 06:05 PM I'm selling my DV852. The camera is in perfect working condition and comes with most if not all of the original accessories. Including a camera bag, extra battery, charger, neutral density filter, and more. I'm asking $650 delivered anywhere in the lower 48. Thanks. e-mail me at cityrockchamp@hotmail.com with your questions. Rick Casuso June 29th, 2004, 08:11 PM Hey Joe, Is that camera still available? Joe Rice June 30th, 2004, 09:49 AM EVERYTHING IS SOLD..... THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tommy Haupfear June 30th, 2004, 12:38 PM Price reduced to $899 before it goes off to eBay this Sunday. Email me if you have a different offer or would like more information. Shawn Patrello June 30th, 2004, 12:46 PM Bump Tommy Haupfear June 30th, 2004, 12:54 PM I dabbled with D-SLR earlier this year but it turns out I'm more of a video guy so up for sale goes my immaculate 10D and accessories. Everything is in mint condition with boxes, bags, paperwork, and even original warranty cards. I keep everything! The lens with its ultrasonic motor, image stabilization, and excellent photo quality has been quoted as the best choice for the 10D before moving to much more expensive L-series glass. I also chose the 420ex flash for its ability to bypass the 10Ds internal autofocus assist (that used the 10Ds flash) with an improved infrared system. Its also worth noting that the 420ex flash is the only flash that can take advantage of all 7 autofocus points on the 10D. With this hand picked super kit you'll be up and shooting right out of the box while saving hundreds of dollars! Included is: Canon 10D Body Canon 28-135mm IS USM lens Canon 420ex Flash 72mm UV Filter Sto-Fen Omni-Bounce 256MB Ultra CF Card USB 2.0 CF Reader/Writer $1699 Here is a photo of all the items included: Click here (http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2002-12/74415/10DAuction.jpg) Sorry for the quality of the photo as it was taken with a camcorder and no flash. The manuals have not even been cracked and the camera has only been used for occassional family photos and only by me. Here is my eBay feedback and feel free to email me with any questions or offers. Click here (http://feedback.ebay.com/ws1/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=technophilez&ssPageName=STRK:ME:UFS) Martin McClellan June 30th, 2004, 07:09 PM Hey Everybody-- A few updates--I've not had any nibbles on this (I should have sold before the winter for all you snowboarders!), but I figure it's for one of three reasons: 1. The need for these are fairly uncommon. 2. The price is too high, or 3. I didn't describe what it is well enough. Since I can't do anything about one, I'll say that if number 2 is stopping you, I'm open to offers (even if you have something that isn't on my trade list you think I might like--give me a shout out!). As for number 3--well, here we can put in some adjectives to spice things up ;-). This finely crafted Portabrace product is intended to keep your XL1/s warm in very cold conditions. Perfect for climbers, snowboarders, or people otherwise heading to extreme conditions, it will protect your gear down to -50 below F. This bag is still in production and can be bought new (list $364, B & H, $299), and if you pack it with heating pads in the enclosed pockets, it will really keep things really toasty. So--heads up all you extreme shooters--keep your gear from freezing on you with this very fine bag! Oh--one more thing, I picked up a tripod, so that should be taken off the trade list--but again, I'm open to ideas--just give a shout! Thanks for looking--Martin martin@rosacordis.com Rick Casuso June 30th, 2004, 07:19 PM What kind of camera is that? I could not find it on the B&H website Jake McMurray June 30th, 2004, 07:44 PM here's some info I found. Its hard to find it because its discontinued. It is a shame because it was one of the best single chip cameras available and still is. http://www.futureusa.com/papv.html you can google it, or searth this website. Take a look around in the panasonic area of this website. I've dropped the price to $625 which is a good price considering its in practically brand new condition. It even comes with the original packaging. Tommy Haupfear June 30th, 2004, 07:53 PM I had the Japanese equivalent of this cam (MX1000) and its an amazing single CCD cam. It has close to 3CCD color accuracy coupled with optical image stabilization. It even takes above average stills when set to 640x480. This picture below earned me Photo of the Day on a photgraphy website and was from a DV852/MX1000. Click here (http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2002-12/74415/NXGDPRDFHBVXFNZYUDPG-Picture%20148%20(Small).jpg) Here is a nice pic of a DV852 for reference. Click here (http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000065AGE.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg) Jake McMurray June 30th, 2004, 08:00 PM Thanks for the reference Tommy, do you know anyone who wants one of these if this guy here doesn't want it? Tommy Haupfear June 30th, 2004, 08:17 PM I haven't seen a request in a couple of months but you might want to checkout the Panasonic MX forum for those debating on which cam to buy. Matt Gettemeier July 1st, 2004, 07:12 AM I got this case last year and it's only been out of my house once. The case is obviously in perfect condition. I've been storing stuff in it, but I don't often need to bring that much with me on a shoot so I figured I could justify a $700 boom pole if I sell this first. CLICK HERE to see the B&H link for this case! (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=65562&is=REG) If you do a search on my name you'll see that I've sold several items in the past at more then fair prices to happy buyers... as well as given stuff away. Since this case is basically still brand new I don't want to sell it for less then 25% off... and since I'm in no hurry to sell it I'll give this thread a month or so before I consider anything lower... much less then that and I'd just keep it 'cause it is a really nice and professional case. $255 plus $20 insured shipping to anywhere in the continental USA. Interested parties PLEASE post below and follow up with an email stating that you want some photos or more info or to buy. Rick Casuso July 1st, 2004, 05:00 PM It sounds like a nice camera, but I need a 3 ccd camera for my line of work. I showed my wife the pic, and we are discussing whether or not we need a new family camera. I know I saw a simliar looking camera that is a 3ccd in Brands Mart last weekend. I dont recall the price though. If there is a huge difference I might make an offer. Ciao. Jake McMurray July 1st, 2004, 08:44 PM well let me know the price is negotiable also. Thanks, Jeff Parker Jun Galinato July 2nd, 2004, 05:15 PM I am selling my 2 months old shotgun microphone with the original box bought at BH last May together with the mic holder. I will also incluce the XLR connector and mic attenuator. Used ony 3 times, no scrathches. I am going to buy a wireless mic and don't need my shotgun anymore. Matt Gettemeier July 2nd, 2004, 06:03 PM How much was the attenuator... and what exactly IS it? The standard B&H deal for a 4073a with cheapy shockmount and an XLR cable is pretty good... Is the attenuator you mention over a hundred bucks? Matt Gettemeier July 2nd, 2004, 06:06 PM Okay... it's 9:38pm Central right now and you can click the link below if you want to see the case... Turn your volume down a bit though 'cause I dropped some guitar samples for a soundtrack since WMV requires an audio track to make a file... it's almost funny actually 'cause it kind of goes with the video... enjoy.
