Juan Parra September 15th, 2004, 11:36 AM pics please... Patrick Gault September 15th, 2004, 12:13 PM Please send me your email address and I will send you some photos. Matthew Kliewer September 15th, 2004, 06:12 PM I still have all of the previously mentioned items if anyone is interested...I can sell the camera for $1450 w/shipping (U.S.) and the Wide Angle for $150 w/shipping (U.S.). You can pay with Paypal, cashier's check, or money order. Please, if you're interested, I need to sell the camera before Sunday - my sanity depends on it! I love this camera, and you will, too. flapjacks_r_us@hotmail.com Thank you, MPK Scott Moore September 16th, 2004, 02:15 AM Lawrence--- No low mode. No LCD. if you have an interest, I can get shipping info. Charles Papert September 16th, 2004, 12:23 PM Just a quick note: Low mode can be achieved without the dedicated bracket by simply flipping the rig over (a top to bottom rebalance is usually required to achieve the proper bottom-heaviness). Then you simply invert the footage in your NLE. It's a bit of a cheat but it works fine, and may be more stable to boot (there's sometimes a bit of flex in the low mode bracket). Doug Clarke September 16th, 2004, 01:09 PM I am selling 3 2kWatt Strand Lighting Fresnelites, 2 4kWatt Mole Richardson Softlights, and 4 sidearm ceiling mounts. The softlights and 2 of the 3 Fresnelites include barndoors. All lights are used but in good shape and operate fine. They are just too big and powerful for my purposes. I need to sell these soon so make me an offer! (I am currently asking for $2500 for the lot) Come by and take a look! (I may also be willing to sell the lights individually). My email is dugc@hotmail.com and my cell is 510-472-3152. Jeff Donald September 16th, 2004, 09:15 PM How do you know the camera is under 40 hours? Is there a warranty with the purchase? What are your return options if dissatisfied? Since you're a dealer (http://www.techtraders.com/) I would guess you have a generous warranty and return policy. Yeong Chia September 17th, 2004, 12:13 AM Fujinon A20X6.4BERM-SD (open box for demo) Brand New, it was 2X extender Selling at USD4000.00 Nick Hiltgen September 17th, 2004, 12:58 AM I believe he posted in the san fransisico bay area part of craigslist. Linus Sagadore September 17th, 2004, 10:01 AM Hi Jeff I am a used equipment dealer not a new equipment dealer. The warrenty offered by used equipment dealers and by myself is one long enough to check out the equipment to make sure you get what you bargined for. Normally 3 days. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia and I bought it from a client in the next province over, in Moncton, New Brunswick. He bought it a few years back from the local Panasonic dealer in Halifax who I know well. The previous owner is a government worker and huge movie buff with several hundred video/DVD titles. So he figured, how hard can it be to make something. He bought a Panasonic AG-DV1000 which I had a buyer for, a Lowel light kit and the camera system and tripod. When he went to shot his first feature, he had trouble with actors, permits etc. He handled the bulbs for the light kit with bare fingers so they blew up when he turned the lights on. He then came to the conclusion that making movies was a little harder than anticipated and the camera sat on the shelf along with a lot of wishful thoughts. He really didn't want to sell the stuff but I got him when the transmission went in his car. I used the camera to shoot the tall ships while they were in Halifax but I really don't have time to be a shooter. I'm keeping the lights and tripod but the camera is for sale. The camera and accessories are mint, not a scratch. There are several companies in the US who I do work with who can verify our reputation. For the most part we work with higher end equipment (switchers, Hi-Def equipment, Betacam), this however is my camera. Pictures are available at www.techtraders.com - click on used equipment > video and look under Cameras Cheers, Linus Sagadore National Tech-Traders Steve Cramer September 17th, 2004, 03:42 PM I have a full size svhs camera that I will sell. Please contact me. Ron Quizon September 17th, 2004, 09:02 PM I have received several inquiries about my sale, but nothing solid has turned up. Any last takers before I send it off to ebay? BTW, the ones on there are moving (for what looks to be a rip-off) but with less extras. Thanks again for looking... Ron Christopher Baker September 17th, 2004, 10:25 PM is it still for sale? Thanks Vince Nori Wentworth September 20th, 2004, 03:23 PM Well kids, the time has come to sell some of my gear to dig myself out of debt a little. Here's a list of my gear. I paid app $20,000 about 4 years ago. I'd like to ditch everything as a package for $10,000 (canadian). I just had the recording drive replaced on the camera and have logged about 12 hours since. (long story, that turned out to be the tapes I was using and not the camera. $1000 leasson not to use JVC tapes!!!) Xl-1 with 14x glass lens w/all included accessories, 3 batteries, custom pelican case, ABC steadicam, ND filter, polarizer filter, promist filter, Color slate/clapper, Bogen/Manfroto tripod with head and bag, Proflex cinedome, Lowel DP lighting kit w/extra bulbs and gels, rocky mountain cstand, grip kit, poly holder w/2 4'x4' foam core bounce boards, and a power invertor. :( - Nori Evan Fisher September 20th, 2004, 05:55 PM And if you guys don't work it out, I'll be third in line. Ron Quizon September 20th, 2004, 06:14 PM Hey there Guys & Gals, Upon further reconsideration, I've decided to break up the XL1s package that I had for sale. Also, I don't really want to deal with the whole ebay thing (it still just seems too shady for me - I'd rather deal with you guys). If you didn't see my original post, I'll sum it up. The camera was purchased on March 30, 2004 and will be shipped in the original packaging. Everything is in "like new" condition since it is almost brand new and I've logged less than 15 hours worth of use. Here's the package that I would like to sell: Canon XL1s SI System Isolator Hoya Pro UV Filter Dual Battery Charger CH-910 Canon BP-945 battery (2) Power 2000 BP-945 MA-100 Audio Adapter Ideally, I'm looking for about $2800 for this package but am willing to entertain serious offers. If you're interested please email me at: keysonthetable@yahoo.com Pictures are available upon request. Thanks again for looking. Ron Benny Ek September 20th, 2004, 10:17 PM Hey Guys. I am trying to save up some more money to buy my XL2, so I am selling my backup 3 chip camera. It's probably not the smartest thing to do, but I really want that XL2 I think you guys understand. Heres the story on the dv953. I purchased it about 6 months ago. I stored it in my Hard Pelican case for almost the entire time. I used it for about 12 total hours. Once when I wanted to film out trip to disneyland and once when I forgot my Dvx100 and needed to resort to my backup. This Camera really is an amazing little machine. The picture quality is great and in such a compact size. 3Megapixel digital still camera is a nice bonus as well. It comes with all the original accessories plus instead of the small 16mb card it comes with a 128mb sd card in included. It also comes with a usb sd card reader. I will also throw in a 4 to 6 pin firewire cable. since they don't include that normally. Box, manuals, cables, and software all included. I purchased this for $1200 and I only want $1,000 out of it. So if you need a good 3ccd camera that rivals the Sony trv950 in my opinion, pick this up and save tax and shipping and $200 from the store. plus get a few extra goodies. Email me with any questions Thanks Benny P.S. Please help me get my XL2 Ps I also have a dvx100 with 80 hours on it for sale Rus May September 20th, 2004, 10:26 PM I bought this GL2 in the late April 2004 and have only recorded 4-5 hours worth of footage on Panasonic DVM63PQ (exclusively, no other brand/model has passed through my cam). I've been focusing more on digital photography so I will downgrade to something much less and selling off my GL2. My GL2 is clean as a whistle and remains in its bag in my walk-in closet. I'm a bit sad about having to sell, but I have eyes on a new Canon Digital SLR and can't buy it until I can get some money. Really I went overboard when I bought the GL2, for my needs don't really justify it. The GL2 is in dead mint condition, as I'm one of those guys who babies his equipment. The ONLY thing, and this I'll mention is that there's a little scratch on the hood of the WD-58H. Everything else is spotless. Here's the package I'm selling: - Canon GL2 with everthing that came in the box (software, manual, battery, charger, cables, etc, etc) - Canon WD-58H wide-angle adapter with hood - Sony 1.7x tele converter - Power 2000 (BP930 equiv.) X 2 - Varizoom Stealth Zoom - Panasonic Dry Cleaner (used once) - Lowepro Nova 5 AW Bag I'm asking $2300 for everything, OBO. I won't sell individuals, so please serious inquiries only. Rus P.S. If you're in the NY tri-state area you can save on shipping. Buyer pays for shipping. Patrick Gault September 21st, 2004, 07:54 AM 2 Lowel Omnis with cable, barndoors, protective screen, 600 watt bulb. These have been used a lot, but they still have a lot of life. Typical scratches. One reflector is showing some age. Parts are easily available through Lowel. 1 Cool-Lux Mini-Cool with barndoor, light stand adapter, diffused glass insert, 150 watt bulb and 12V cigarette adapter. Works great. Some scratches on barn door and light. 2 Bogen 3320 Stackers (Black) - Great shape. A few scratches here and there, but stands work great. Very compact and easy to store. Extend to 7'. Dan Lahav September 21st, 2004, 05:02 PM The CS-1 is a professional class microphone, perfect for dialogue and mounting on your cam. It's used and recomended by industry professionals all around. I have one in absolute *mint* condition only used a handful of times. Everything it originally came with is included (foam wind protector, case and charts). Please email me for pricing and info as i may not be able to check this board often in the next few weeks. Thanks, -Dan voodoo1694@hotmail.com Don Parrish September 21st, 2004, 05:06 PM Well taken care of 13 button contour shuttle pro, in original box. Fully functional, I may have the paperwork from the box here somewhere but if I remember there wasnt much and their website is just as helpful. The Vegas 4 + DVD I bought used and it has been registered and passed around several times so no guarantee on it although I was able to register it. I however have no Idea on Sony's policy reguarding second / third registrations so I am just throwing it in with the contour pro with no guarantee's. It has 5 disks, 1 Vegas 4.0, 1 DVD Architect, 1 vision, 1 Acid 3.0 and 1 sound forge studio. Also comes with books and box that was with it originally. 80.00 bucks (money order only) for both, this includes U.S. Lower 48 (ONLY) SHIPPING included. I do not have the patience right now to try and send things any farther, sorry. Email me if you want pics. Aprox. how many hours did you shoot with it? Any hot pixels at low to mid-gain levels (0-12db)? Feel free to e-mail me at jeff@mediachute.com to talk details. Thanks! Jeff Ryan Graham September 22nd, 2004, 09:21 AM Hey Rob, I have one of the dual battery chargers that also serves as a belt pack. Model # CH-910. I also have the DC inverter cable for it that hooks it up to the camera. The only thing I've noticed about the unit is that it won't double as an AC adapter. That is, it'll charge batteries, and it'll run the camera from the batteries when they're plugged into the adapter, but if you take the batteries off and try to power the camera from it, nothing happens. This isn't a defect, but I didn't realize it when I bought it, which is why I wouldn't mind parting with it. It retails for around $150 (not including the DC inverter cable, which is an extra $25), but I'd be willing to sell both for $60. Let me know if you're interested! Thanks, Ryan Graham ryan@37point5.com Benny Ek September 22nd, 2004, 09:24 AM 0 Nori Wentworth September 22nd, 2004, 04:13 PM No bites??? It's a great deal....
