Bob Safay September 8th, 2004, 11:40 AM Ok, you guys win. $425 or it goes to ebay over the weekend. Bob Safay Giroud Francois September 8th, 2004, 01:19 PM it is not sure that the price of the JVC will drop. it is totally possible that the big marketing done by Sony will push people to ask why not, they could switch to HD as well. But then they do as everyone, they are looking for a cheap HD camera and guess what ? It is a JVC ! It is even possible that the HD1 get a boost thanks to sony. You should wat at least until november, just before Xmas, lots of people will be looking for a miracle. Anyway, take a look : http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=278495&is=REG Matthew Kliewer September 8th, 2004, 02:55 PM Just an addition to the previous...I found the large eyecup and shoulder strap...Also if you would like to purchase the camera separately from the lens, it would be $1600 for the camera and $150 for the lens. Ron Quizon September 11th, 2004, 08:11 AM After rereading my original post it seems that I didn't actually list the conditions of each item. I'll sum it up: Camera and tripod - about 15 hours of use Additional batteries - charged maybe 3 times Frezzi light and softbox - tested only Battery pack for light - tested only MA-100 - used once about 2 hours Battery Charger(allows dual battery usage) - used about 2 hours So everything is in like new state Thanks Rob Unck September 11th, 2004, 11:29 AM Hi folks, I'm selling my Panasonic DV852. (Moving up to a DVX100 soon.) In case you don't know about this camera: it's one of the highest-rated 1-chip Mini-DV camcorders. Do a search on this very board for "852" and you can read other board members' opinions of this great little cam. Included in this package: - Panasonic PV-DV852 camcorder - Original accesories (see photo link below) including original battery, battery charger, power supply, manual, SD card (8mb), remote control, AV cable and USB cable. - Extras include: camera case, firewire cable. See photos of this package here: http://www.oasismedia.com/robustfilms/dv852.html The camera is in perfect working condition. There are minor cosmetic blemishes, including a scratch (not deep) on the top exterior of the viewfinder assembly (not on glass) that does not affect functionality. You can see from the photos I could barely get it to register in the photos. Just want to mention it in the interest of full disclosure. Asking $500, negotiable. I accept MO, cashier's check or PayPal. Any questions, please feel free to contact me at rob(at)oasismedia.com. Thanks for looking! Elaina Davis September 13th, 2004, 03:40 PM Hello I wanted to know if you sold your FireStore FS-1 yet? Eduardo Soto September 13th, 2004, 06:32 PM sent you email es Matt Weber September 14th, 2004, 12:21 PM I'm looking for a broken small sized mini dv camcorder. By broken i mean, cracked lens, busted LCD screen, zoom button fell in the river, that sort of thing. I'm going to be attaching a helmet camera to it, so it just has to power up and accept input from a helmet camera. And hopefully be small enough to fit into a jacket pocket. And be cheaper than one that is brand new. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks. Eugene Kim September 14th, 2004, 06:03 PM Hi, I was wondering if anybody had any Miller DS-5 or 10 tripods they would be willing to sell. Thanks. Patrick Gault September 15th, 2004, 12:53 AM 1 - Cool-Lux Mini-Cool with barndoors, diffused glass insert, light stand adapter, 12V cigarette adapter, and 150 Watt AC Bulb. This light is used, but is in great condition. A very versitile and compact tungsten light. Can be lamped with a variety of wattages, both AC and DC! 1 - Bogen Backlight Stand - a compact stand that can be easily be hidden behind your subject. The mini-cool and this stand are ideal for lighting backgrounds in an interview. This stand is used, but is in good shape. Only $200!!! Compare that price to what you would pay for the light, accessories, and stand at B&H. patrickgault@netzero.net Nick Hiltgen September 15th, 2004, 01:46 AM Hi Matt I have a pal cam that has a lot of issues it's a JVC mini DV I don't know if you're interested or not. Lawrence Stevens September 15th, 2004, 05:11 AM Hi there Whats in the package? Does it have the LCD Screen, and the Low mode kit? What would you charge to post to the UK regards Lawrence Robbie Smolinsky September 15th, 2004, 05:44 AM Sorry if this is a dumb question - but do you know the exact model number of this light? I looked around and it seems as though there are a few different "versions". Thanks! Patrick Gault September 15th, 2004, 06:33 AM I'll check and get back to you. Andrew Petrie September 15th, 2004, 09:47 AM Lawrence, I also have a V16 with all accessories/lowmode/LCD if this one does not. With either V16 package, I would think shipping 60+ lbs would cost a bit to the UK. I paid $50 for domestic ground shipping alone. Matt Weber September 15th, 2004, 10:46 AM I'm a newbie with video, how hard would it be for me to work with PAL? Are there programs that will help me convert it to NTSC? Also what model is the camera, not all JVC's allow AV input. Thanks. |
