Bob Harotunian April 17th, 2004, 06:30 AM Scott,
This is a brand new unused battery. I'm selling it because it was to be a back-up battery for my Frezzi light. I have two Frezzi batteries and will not need the Bescor. I bought it from B&H and I have the receipt. E-mail me if you need any other information.

Joe Holt April 21st, 2004, 01:03 PM For Sale
DPS Velocity 3D Turnkey System with optional DVI-4000 Digital I/O card for DV.
This is a fully functioning Real Time Edit system. I am only selling because I just took a job with a TV production company and no longer need my own gear. I have had DPS NLEs since my first Video Action NT with the Perception video recorder card. I have been very happy with their products and tech support. I primarily did DVCAM productions with this system but it is capable of working in uncompressed component and composite video as well as DV. An optional I/O card can be purchased from Leitch for SDI. This is the best Broadcast Quality Real Time NLE in its price range. You’d have to spend twice as much for its equivalent in an AVID.
$9000 OBO
Go here to learn more about Velocity:
http://www2.leitch.com/custserv/products.nsf/pcnlookup/nt00005a2e
Turnkey System Includes:
2 ViewSonic PF790 19” flatscreen Monitors
1 Medea 150GB SCSI disk Array
1 Full Tower PC with 2.6GHz P4 with 800Mhz frontside bus
1GB RAM
Windows XP Pro
(2) 20GB Ultra SCSI internal Drives (one is system and other is for AV)
Velocity 8.2 Editing software (fully documented and registered)
DFX+4 composting effects software
Reality 3D board with optional DV I/O
Plus some extras
You may email me directly with questions or offers. I am open to selling the Velocity/Reality editing components without the computer but the whole system has already been fire tested under real conditions and is fully functioning. If you come to my location to pick up the system, I’ll throw in some free training. Thanks for looking. Joe

Mark Argerake April 24th, 2004, 04:39 PM Still not spoken for.... it really isn't a bad deal.
Roderick Finch April 24th, 2004, 06:34 PM that is a bit high for that vaio, for that you are looking at about 700$ at the most .....
but I could be wrong, I would tone down the price alot.
1500$ you can get a new laptop that is faster and better than that ...
not trying to bust your balls just trying to help
Robert Benavidez April 24th, 2004, 07:47 PM no interest?
off to fleabay this weekend.
Glen Elliott April 24th, 2004, 08:23 PM You know what...your right. I just visited a few sites and for a little bit more you can get a laptop with a bit more juice...just not the same screen the UXGA screen IS something to behold. I think that's why I overpaid on it- $3000 is steep even for a high end Vaio. It was the first year they used the high res UXGA 16" screen. The following year they released a 2.6 mhz w/ dvd burner for $2500.
Update: If your interested make me an offer- if it's reasonable I won't turn it down.

I need it for my VX1000, summer is comming up and filming for a skate vid is gonna start and I need a good lens. Alani Heredia April 26th, 2004, 09:25 PM how much should i pay for a near mint vx1000?
looking to buy one from someone and dont want to be over charged.
Frank Granovski April 26th, 2004, 09:42 PM $600 US. In fact, I wouldn't even pay $200 for one.
You'd be much better off with a used VX2000---for $1450 US maybe?
Sam Forbes April 26th, 2004, 10:05 PM I agree, I wouldn't pay too much for one but look at ebay sometime. People pay very high prices for any 3ccd unit. Vx1000's can bring 12 or $1300 easily. Used Vx2000's normally can't be touched for under $1800. Once in a while they can but most of them sell for around $1700 to $2000. Used GL1's bring $1200 to $1500. It's crazy but people on ebay will pay almost new prices for a used camera. I don't understand, but check for yourself, it's happening.
Alani Heredia April 26th, 2004, 11:37 PM Thanks for the info.
i actually own a dvx100, but my friend has a vx1000 that he has never used. so i was willing to take it off his hands. i wanted to know how much i should give him for it. i dont really need the camera though.
-thanks again.
