Steve Cramer September 23rd, 2004, 10:37 AM Hello,
I have a friend that is selling this camera. I bought the first one. I love it. I told him that this site may be able to help him out. If you are intrested, please email Matt Harper at m-harper@northwestern.edu. I bought mine from him for 4000.00.
They couldn't use them because the zoom lens was on 12x. It is brand new with low hours. I have total confidence that this camera is in great shape. If I thought it was smoke and mirrors, I would never posted it on this site.
Thanks for this site,
Steve Cramer

Dylan Couper September 23rd, 2004, 11:01 AM Nori, you should have a much easier time selling if you break it up somewhat. Might even get more for it.
Cliff Hepburn September 23rd, 2004, 11:30 AM In addition to breaking it up, pictures and model numbers wouldn't hurt.
Chris Hurd September 23rd, 2004, 12:12 PM I'm a little unclear on your phrase, "I bought the first one." Is this a single private sale by an individual, or is he in the business of selling stuff... and why can't he register and post it himself?
Steve Cramer September 23rd, 2004, 12:20 PM Matt had two for sale. I bought the first one. Matt has had a hard time sellling the second one. He contacted me and I thought I would post it here. Maybe I gave too much HONEST information. He has purchased two new cameras (xl2) because these ones didn't fit his needs.
This is a single private sale. Matt is not in the business of selling this type of equipment. He works as a Video Coordinator at Northwestern Univesity. I thought it would just be easier for me to post, since I have recently become a member and he wasn't.
I feel this is a good oppertunity for someone to get a great camera @ a great price......
Thanks
Steve
Nori Wentworth September 23rd, 2004, 01:54 PM Indeed.
I shall break everything up into mini packages. I'll dig up my old invoices and post again tommorow.

Murad Toor September 24th, 2004, 01:50 AM I have a barely used MA-100.
It's complete with all the original packaging. I never installed the metal plate (the part that holds wireless mic receivers or the dual battery holder), so that's fresh and still in the plastic.
B&H has it for $154.95 plus shipping and (because you're in NY) tax.
I'll sell it to you for $140 shipped.
I sold my XL1s in July, but the buyer chose not to take the MA-100.
Jimmy McKenzie September 24th, 2004, 04:51 AM How much?
Which frequency band? 518-550?
Thanks.
Derrick Begin September 24th, 2004, 07:13 AM The MA-100 is no-longer available.
Compare my prices to others and BHPHOTO. The camera is in excellent condition with low hours.
My needs require me to upgrade my current equipment.

Juan Parra September 26th, 2004, 07:19 PM both tripod and head are now on ebay.
Ron Quizon September 26th, 2004, 08:36 PM If it helps, I'm only looking for the serial number to find out if it's after the known and dreaded "audio hiss". It may sound like paranoia, but I'm likely to use the camera in the situation that has documented problems unless after a certain serial number.
Also, would you please send me pictures of where the scratches are at?
Thanks.
Ron

Kenji Nakajima September 27th, 2004, 12:06 AM Greeting,
I forgot all about that hiss issue original PD150 had. Yes, I'll email the serial number and link to the picture. The pictures were taken with TRV900 in indoor so it may look fuzzy but you will be able to see the scratches.
Thank you for your interest
